Castle of Rivalta

The castle is mentioned in documents from as early as 1048, and in the 14th century it passed under the rule of the Landi family, who still retain ownership through the lineage of the Zanardi Landi counts. A luxurious and elegant residence surrounded by magnificent parkland, it announces its presence with the unmistakable and unique profile of a soaring ‘torresino’. Frequent guests here include members of the British Royal family. It is possible to visit the hall of honour, the dining room, the kitchen, the cellars, the dungeons, the bedrooms, the tower, the arms room, the gallery, the billiard room and the Museum of Military Costume. In the village, the castle also has 14 luxury hotel rooms available for guests.
